Firefighters will be swapping their engines for bikes to combat arsonists and flytippers across Walsall.
A total of 16 firefighters from across the borough's four stations will get on the saddle to help tackle crime and anti-social behaviour over the next few months.
Two bikes are being based at Aldridge, Bloxwich, Walsall and Willenhall fire stations where teams will take to the streets to identify hotspot areas.
