A Black Country town could get a new budget supermarket, railway station and expanded Asda.
The results of a consultation into the Darlaston Strategic Regeneration Framework reveal a host of radical ideas.
Improvements to parks and a revamp of shop fronts also feature within the plans, which regeneration bosses hope will boost the town over coming decades.
Proposals suggest a new train station at James Bridge, either an Aldi or Lidl store in St Lawrence Way and expansions featuring extra car-parking at Asda in King Street.
The plans have received public backing in consultations, they are described as only being in the "embryonic stage" at present.
