Two women were trapped in a Volvo car for hours after it hurtled into a lamp post and a garden wall in Tipton.
The smash happened in the early hours of yesterday morning in Glebefields Road.
Residents spoke of their shock at the crash, which left the wall in ruins and damaged parked cars. Two women in their 20s were taken to Sandwell General and Russells Hall Hospitals with multiple injuries. The driver, a man in his 30s, was not badly hurt. The two passengers were trapped in the car for around two hours while crews battled to release them.
