A masked robber armed with a kitchen knife threatened a cashier and demanded money during a late-night raid at a Kidderminster off-licence.

The raider, who was wearing a red bandana and a Nottingham Forest FC scarf, walked away with £160.

He walked into the Bargain Booze in Coventry Street shortly before 10pm yesterday wielding the knife, and told the cashier to give him cash from the till.

He then left the shop and headed down Waterloo Street.

Store manager Dave Gibbons said: "Fotunately there were no customers in the shop at the time.

"The store has CCTV so we have handed that over to police."
