More than 1,000 homes were left without electricity after a power cut hit Halesowen.
Central Networks said 1,071 customers were affected by the power shortage at around 4pm yesterday afternoon.
The supply was temporarily restored at 4.59pm but three minutes later the electricity went off again. Power was finally restore at 6.15pm.
A spokeswoman, Rebecca Mara said the failure was caused by a fault with an underground cable at the junction of Priory Road and Carters Lane. She said the area had been cordoned off for further repair work to be carried out. Around 3,749 homes in Dog Kennel Lane, Halesowen, were cut off last month.
