A man was shot in the leg in a pizza restaurant in the second gun attack in Wolverhampton in less than a week.

The victim is understood to have been blasted in the leg just before 11pm last night on the Wednesfield Road in Heath Town.

Today a police forensics tent had been erected outside the Pizza Line takeaway, where the shooting is understood to have happened.

His injuries were not thought to be life threatening. Last Thursday a 16-year-old was shot in Owen Road, Penn Fields.
