There were playful scenes at Pens Meadow Primary School when the funnyman bounced around on the trampoline with pupils.

He was invited to the school in Ridge Hill, Wordsley, to see the multi-sensory gym which has been designed to further the development of pupils who all have physical and mental disabilities.

Looking relaxed Lenny said: "I fully support everything that goes on at Pens Meadow Primary and I had a fantastic time playing with the children."

An alien adventure mural has been painted on two walls of the gym so children feel they are flying through space while playing on the equipment.

The artist Louise Henwood, 49, from The Broadway, Stourbridge, is a friend of the funnyman and said: "I've been friends with Lenny for over 30 years and when I told him about Pens Meadow he said he wanted to do what he could to help."
