Kay Morris died in the smash in Stourport Road, Blackstone, Bewdley, around 1am on Saturday.

Paramedics battled to save her but she was dec-lared dead at the scene.

Her heartbroken family today paid tribute to her.

They said Kay had loved maths since she was a child and had dreamed of a career in accounting.

She had just realised her ambition by becoming a trainee at Duffy Regan Chartered Accountants in Worcester.

Kay is survived by her partner Tom, her mother and father Steph and Phil, and sister Dee.

A statement from the family said: "We are shocked and devastated by the loss of our much-loved daughter.

"She enjoyed music and listening to or reading poetry, particularly funny rhymes. Kay had a great sense of fun. She also loved spending time with her friends. She was a very popular girl who was always on the go.

"Kay worked so hard to achieve her ambition of becoming an accountant. We would like to thank Duffy Regan Chartered Accountants for giving her the opportunity she always wanted.

"Kay was loved and will be greatly missed by all of us. We would also like to thank all the people who stopped to help Kay on the evening of the crash and all the emergency services who att-ended."

An inquest was opened and adjourned at Worcestershire Coroner's Court today.

A date has not yet been set for a full hearing as further reports are awaited.
