Accused gambler could be sent to US
A professional gambler from the Midlands is today facing extradition after allegedly killing his wife then dumping her body in a US park before spending her money during a "playboy" weekend in Las Vegas.

Marcus Bebb-Jones, 46, was arrested at his mother's home in Merton Close, Kidderminster, amid accusations he went on to spend thousands of dollars on his wife's credit cards before botching a suicide bid.
Bebb-Jones, who is well-known throughout the Midlands' gambling circuit after winning thousands of pounds in tournaments in Walsall, Bridgnorth and Birmingham, spent about eight years in America, run-ning a hotel with his wife.
An emergency extradition court hearing in London yesterday was told the poker player had shot himself after allegedly killing 31-year-old wife Sabrina in 1997.
Her skull was not found until 2004 when dental records were used to identify a body found in a park. Bebb-Jones, who returned to the UK about 10 years ago, was remanded in custody.
