Shed raiders take tractor

Thieves smashed their way into a stables in Halesowen, stealing a tractor from a shed.

The machine, a Wheel Horse tractor worth £1,000 was taken late last night from the stables in Uffmoor Lane.

Owner Jennifer Lane says a neighbour drove past to see the gate to the stables smashed off its hinges around 11pm.

West Mercia Police are appealing for information. Anyone who can help should call 0300 333 3000.
