Two people have died in separate incidents at Midland railway stations.

And paramedics sent to out to attend to the first case had to be taken to hospital themselves after they crashed in Great Barr.

The alarm was raised at 6.30am on Saturday when a man, who has not been named, was found trapped beneath a train at Sutton Coldfield's train station.

The second death involved a train hitting a woman on a railway line at Husum Way, Kidderminster, at around 8.30 last night.
