It was magic darts in the Black Country when 14 time world champion Phil 'The Power' Taylor took on a series of challengers - including an 85 year old widow and an 11 year old schoolboy - at a new Wolverhampton darts zone.

The legend took on eight contestants who had each won competitions to step up to the oche with him.

The Power was cheered for his dexterous display of darts at Riley's Snooker Club on Broad Street, in the city centre, but it was elderly Muriel Holland who was perhaps the real star of the night.

She said: "I can't believe I got to play him, it was one of the best moments of my life - and when you get to my age, that's saying something."

Also stepping up was Jordan Singh, 11.
