Driver dies in collision

A man has been killed and another is critical in two accidents in the Midlands.

A driver died when two cars collided on the A442 two miles north of Kidderminster at Shatterford at 7pm last night.

The Honda coupe driver, a 23-year-old man from Wolverley, died at the scene.

In another accident a 22-year-old male predestrian was injured in a hit and run at around 1.20am today at the junction of Temple Street and High Street, West Bromwich. Police are looking for a dark saloon.
