Among them were former bus driver Keith Williams and his wife Cindy, who were part of a 10-strong work syndicate at a West Bromwich residential home that won £1.9m in 2003. The couple paid off the £40,000 mortgage on their 19th century cottage in Halesowen and have since enjoyed a string of luxury cruises.

But Cindy, aged 59, and 63-year-old Keith still live in Furlong Road and both still go out to work.

Cindy, a cook at Nicholl Grange Residential Home off Trinity Way when they won the jackpot, still dishes out the meal to residents there and has now been joined by Keith, who is a support worker.
