The first goal came in the eighth minute, when Alex Steadman tapped in from close range. Steadman almost doubled his tally a minute later, but his header was straight at Jackson.

Willenhall came close to equalising on 15 minutes, but keeper Chris Dodsley cleared from the path of Jamall Pinnock. A superb sliding challenge from Anthony Nicholls stopped Steadman from almost certainly doubling Mickleover's lead.

A contender for goal of the season pulled Willenhall level on 37 minutes, when Lee Chilton escaped two defenders and then skipped past another challenge before firing home.

Then the visitors went ahead on 47 minute, when Pinnock lobbed the ball over Dodsley and the ball spun into the net after hitting the inside of the post.

Karl Ashton put the ball over the bar from six yards, then a minute later Jackson had to alert to punch the ball clear.

Willenhall went 3-1 ahead when Pinnock kept his nerve to round Dodsley and slot the ball into the net. But a minute later Mickleover were back to 3-2 when Ashton scored.

And Shaun Cunnington's side were pegged back a minute into stoppage time, when Tony Law fought off several defenders to stroke the ball in from close range.
