Yobs hurled a lump of concrete through the window of a house in Stourport and poured paint over a car parked on the drive.

Police have called the attack in Oakhampton Road a "frightening ordeal" for the homeowner.

They today appealed for information to help catch the thugs who struck in the early hours of Friday September, 4. Police say two white men were seen running up the drive of the home, before throwing a tin of white paint over the car parked on the driveway.

The police added that one of the yobs then threw a piece of concrete through the downstairs window causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.

Pc Andrew Brooks-Davies said: "It is possible that the offenders may have got paint on their hands, so if anyone saw two males later that morning with white paint on their hands acting suspiciously we would urge them to call us."

Anyone with information should call police at Kidderminster on 0300 333 3000.
