Drugs found as bosses held

Class A drugs and more than £130,000 cash were discovered in the homes and businesses of construction bosses arrested over an alleged £6 million fraud.

A businessman from Penn and another from Codsall were among 23 people arrested across the country yesterday on suspicion of money laundering and conspiracy to cheat the public purse. They have been bailed until next January.

The plot is thought to have been cooked up by organised crime gangs.
