Teen's body discovered

The body of a teenager has been found in woods in Wordsley.

The 18-year-old, who has not been formally identified but is thought to be from the Oldbury area, was discovered about 200 yards along a footpath leading into Ridgehill wood.

Police taped off the footpath off Lawnswood Road following the discovery about 7.30am on Saturday.

DI Andrew Spiers from Staffordshire Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious and the boy's parents have been told.
