Brothers' trek in £250 BMW
Two brothers have got behind the wheel for an epic fundraising car journey across Europe.
Steve and Spencer Turner have decorated a £250 car they bought on ebay with a Ghostbusters theme for the 1,600-mile journey.
The trip, which started from Wolverhampton on Wednesday, will finish in Portugal on Sunday.
Steve, aged 26, of Bilbrook, and Spencer, 24, of Tettenhall, are taking on the challenge as part of the annual Sucata Run. The brothers are raising cash for the Gemini.org, which develops education all over the world.
Spencer, a tennis coach at the Albert Lawn Tennis Club, said: "So much time and effort has gone into the car, I just hope it holds together."
The brothers have already raised £1,200 in donations, including £500 from Andrew Broome of Frisby & Co Solicitors. Morelock Signs also donated stickers for the car.
Nicknamed the Coastbusters by friends, they spent weeks getting their BMW Series 5 estate into shape.
Steve, who works for Wolverhampton Audi, said: "We have to say thank you to all who have donated so far."
