The Ford Transit suffered a tyre blow out at around 9.30 last night forcing the driver to swerve onto a grass verge near Junction 1.

Meanwhile firefighters had to cut the door off a car to free a woman after it overturned on the Bewdley Road in Kidderminster at around 4.30pm yesterday. A 10-year-old girl and a man believed to be aged in his 60s escaped unscathed.

A camper van ended up on its side on the M6 between junctions 12 and 13 at 11.40am yesterday and a VW camper van returning from the V Festival caught fire on the A5 at Churchbridge at 3.30pm.
