Sainsbury's to expand store
Sainsbury's is to expand its supermarket in Kidderminster creating up to 100 jobs for the town.

The retail giant has pledged to recruit local workers for the store on the Crossley Retail Park. The news was today welcomed by the chairman of the town centre partnership, Peter Picken.
The scheme includes a new cafe, more sales space and a bigger car park as well as the introduction of Sainsbury's on-line shopping service and an extension to the warehouse.
There will also be improved customer and staff facilities and a new glazed entrance. A planning application is due to be submitted to Wyre Forest District Council in the coming months.
Sainsbury's development executive Christian Wakelin said: "Sainsbury's proposed extension will improve the shopping experience for customers at Kidderminster.
"The plans will be on display in the store and we hope residents will drop in to submit their views, which will be considered as part of public consultation."
Mr Picken said: "New jobs for Kidderminster would be very welcome. It is also very encouraging when a company like Sainsbury's feels Kidderminster is a town worth investing in.
"Hopefully it will also lead to more development in the town centre, which is holding its own in the current climate, but it would be good to see more development and jobs there."
As part of the plans, Sainsbury's is also investigating what improvements can be made to the junction of the A456, Kidderminster ring road, and Lower Mill Street.
The plans will go on show at the store from August 22 until September 6.
