A 26-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to causing the death of a passenger in his car through dangerous driving on the Kidderminster to Bridgnorth road.

A 26-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to causing the death of a passenger in his car through dangerous driving on the Kidderminster to Bridgnorth road.

Gavin Chance, of Wardle Way, Wolverley, appeared before Worcester Crown Court yesterday and was remanded on bail for a trial set to last five days early next year.

Christopher Bowler, aged 22, of Cherry Orchard, Kidderminster, died in the crash at Shatterford on October 3 last year.

Mr Bowler worked in the catering department of the Severn Valley Railway.
