A woman is in a critical condition after being knocked down as she walked her dog along a busy Kidderminster road today.

Police closed Sutton Road, near Brinton Park, to traffic for two hours following the rush-hour accident.
The pedestrian, believed to be in her 50s, suffered head injuries following the collision at the junction of Sutton Road and Poplar Road.
She was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester.
Two crews from West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene at around 8.30am and found the woman lying in the road.
West Mercia Police spokeswoman Julia Jones confirmed police had attended the scene and officers were investigating.
Resident Sian Taylor, aged 37, of Sutton Road, said: "There has been a lot of accidents in this road. There seems to be one a month at the moment.
"This one looked quite nasty, I hope the woman isn't badly hurt.
"Police arrived and stopped people using the the road while the paramedics were there helping the woman. It was opened again just before 11am."
Ambulance crews described the woman's condition as critical but stable.
