Dubbed 'God's Bostin Rules' they include 'Honor ya dad un ya mom' and 'Yow cor kill con ya' and are causing a stir across the area.

The t-shirt was made for local charity worker David Upson, who said he cannot walk down the street without people stopping to read it.

The commandments were put together by Warren McCabe-Smith and Stephen Pitts of Teet Shirts in Reddal Hill Road, Cradley Heath.

They were approached by charity worker David - a Christian and Black Country born and bred - to translate the biblical text into dialect.

The 63-year-old, of Bleakhouse Road, Oldbury, said: "I was born down the Lye and love the Black Country accent, although mine is not as broad as it was from working away.

"I took a copy of the 10 commandments into the shop and the lads translated them.

"I am really happy with the result and it's been a real talking point in the local area.

Mr McCabe-Smith, aged 29, set up the Teet Shirts company with his friend Stephen, who he has known since he was four years old.

He said: "We opened the shop in 2007 and described ourselves as makers of Black Country 'tay' shirts.

"We have already produced shirts with the Black Country alphabet which have gone down a storm, so we were delighted when we were asked for the Ten Commandments and had a real laugh doing it."
