Yobs steal buggies in attack on golf club
Stolen golf buggies were driven around the streets before being dumped and vandalised by thieves who struck at a Black Country golf club for the second time in a week.

Yobs caused thousands of pounds damage during the latest attack at the Sedgley Golf Centre in Sandyfields Road. The club has recently set up a series of classes for young people in a bid to cut anti-social behaviour. But the centre was targeted at the weekend by yobs.
They stole eight buggies, worth up to £15,000 each, and drove them around nearby streets before vandalising and dumping the vehicles.
It follows a similar incident last week when a number of buggies were taken and driven around the club causing damage to the course.
Helen Willis, whose family runs the club, said she and her husband Peter are disappointed by the attacks.
"This is the second time within a week that we have been targeted – the company we hire the buggies from is not best pleased to say the least," said Mrs Willis, whose family has run the golf club for nearly 12 months.
Mrs Willis, aged 50, said the buggies were taken from the course some time late on Sunday or in the early hours of yesterday.
The thieves are thought to have started the engines by picking apart the ignitions.
The vehicles were recovered a few streets away at around 2am on Monday.
The vehicles had been badly damaged with their plastic windscreens cracked and the baskets torn off.
Mrs Willis said: "The damage will cost around £4,000 to repair. We need to contact our insurers but this will put our premiums up."
