Tom Morrison and Adele Tilford carried out the parachute jump on June 24.

The pair have been raising money for Isabelle Canavan's six-year-old son, Jude, who has an inoperable brain tumour.

After he suffered a stroke and four operations, specialists told Isabelle that Jude might not live for more than eight weeks.

Six months later, and with weekly chemotherapy, Jude can use his left side again and only needs a wheelchair when he is tired, so the family is remaining positive.

Tom said: "The parachute jump was an amazing experience.

"We've been overwhelmed with the response, donations, and good wishes from everyone, and so far we've raised £3,250.

"If anyone would like make a donation, please visit www.justgiving. com/jump4jude and give whatever you can.

"We paid for the dive ourselves, so all the money will go straight to the Make a Wish Foundation," said Tom.

Isabelle said: "Jude has always wanted to go to Disneyland Paris, and we're so grateful to Tom and Adele, and everyone who has sponsored them, for making his wish come true through the Make a Wish Foundation.

"He is really excited about meeting his favourite characters, Rory the Racing Car and Jack Sparrow, and I can't wait to see his face when we get there."

As well as the sponsored sky dive, Lichfield District Council's customer services team, Lichfield Connects, has also been raising money for Jude.

The team was inundated with prizes donated by council staff for a raffle and raised more than £700.
