Motorcyclist dies in smash

A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a car on a busy road in the Black Country.

A Suzuki motorbike and a purple BMW car were involved in the smash in Bromford Road, Oldbury, close to the Sandwell and Dudley Railway Station. The rider was taken to Sandwell Hospital with multiple injuries but died.

The road was shut between Fountain Lane and Kelvin Way for over three hours as police investigated the collision which happened at around 5.30pm yesterday.
