A Kidderminster vicar has been appointed as a chaplain for students and staff at the University of Worcester.
It is the first time for several years the university has had a chaplain based on the campus full-time and the Rev Dr Fiona Haworth will take the post on Monday.
Roger Prout, head of student services at the University, said: "We aim to establish a multi-faith chaplaincy base at the university to offer pastoral and spiritual support to students and staff of all faiths and none."
