One of Kidderminster's most unique buildings will be opened to the public for a day.

Caldwell Tower, in Castle Road, dates from 1347 and is being opened free-of-charge by its owner for viewing by the public on June 27 from 10am to 4pm.

The tower was restored by local businessman Richard Davies and is all that remains of a former building. The historic Grade II listed three-storey tower was part of the home of a leading Worcestershire Royalist, Ralph Clare, during the English Civil War.
