Jason Meacham, 26, of Stourport died in a freak accident.
He collided with a rope strung across a children's climbing frame in the town.
His family said the former Stourport High School pupil, of Larford Walk, would be buried in his moto-cross clothing.
The funeral service at Stourbridge Crematorium was expected to be attended by many other riders and moto-cross enthusiasts.
Since his death, Jason's mother Mrs Lyn Meacham has called for the children's playground at Barnfield Park to be locked and fenced off at night to prevent further tragedies.
Jason, a steel erector, had just returned home from working abroad when the accident happened on the night of May 29.
He died at the scene of shock, haemorrhage and a massive neck injury.
