She is the British Bulldog known to scores of punters at a popular Walsall pub. But managers at The Park Tavern have been left heartbroken after thieves made off with 20-month-old pet Gemini.
Manager Sue Yardley has made an emotional plea for information to help bring her beloved bulldog back home. Raiders broke through a gate at the back garden of the pub on Friday night, taking off with the distinctive red-and-white marked dog.
Miss Yardley, said: "I usually go out to feed the dogs in the evening and then fetch them in. I went down at about 9pm on Friday and she didn't come running up like she usually does. Gem has a white body with red markings and has a red patch over each eye."
Miss Yardley and her partner Steve also have two other dogs, Tia and Diesel.
"Diesel in particular is missing her like mad because they've been together for more than a year," she said. "Gem is going to be so scared, wherever she is."
