Appeal after man stabbed near pub

A man was stabbed in the early hours of this morning close to a pub in Wolverhampton.

Police were called to an area off the Wednesfield Road, near The Manhattan, in Heath Town, just after midnight.

The area remained sealed off this morning. The man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Witnesses are asked to call police on 0845 113 5000 with information.
