Letter: Breathing Space, a Black Country charity that helps people into self employment, is marking its 20th anniversary with an event in Walsall on April 22 at its new offices at 34 Green Lane.

The birthday party is designed to celebrate the organisation's achievement in assisting more than 1,000 people, many from disadvantaged backgrounds, in starting up their own companies and will also provide an insight into the future.

We are searching for clients who have been helped since 1989 and would urge anyone who has been through the Breathing Space service to get in touch about attending on the evening.

There is a lot planned for the event, with entertainment, a marketplace of companies showcasing their products and services, and a delicious buffet of local food produced by one of our successful entrepreneurs.

All clients old and new will be welcome, so please get in touch on 01922 213213 to help us make the celebration of the last 20 years a real success.

Mike Lee, Trustee, Breathing Space Ltd. Walsall.
