The trial of a 25-year-old Kidderminster van driver accused of causing the death of another motorist in Stourport is due to last seven days.

Lee Whettall, of Aldermere Drive, Franche, is due to appear at Hereford Crown Court on June 1.

He has pleaded not guilty to causing the death of 23-year-old Scott Irwin, of Staite Drive, Cookley, by dangerous driving on March 31 last year.

Mr Irwin was a passenger in a Rover 216, which was in collision with Whettall's Ford Transit on the A491 at the Minster Road.
