Driver in crash flees

A driver fled after his car crashed into a house in the Black Country in Sandwell today.

Firefighters said people in the Rover 25 which hit the property were nowhere to be seen when they arrived at Wolverley Crescent in Oldbury just after 4.30am.

Stuart Hawkins, of Oldbury fire station, said: "No-one at the scene was injured but the door and front window of the house were damaged and there were a few people milling around who must have heard what happened."
