Tributes to crash tragedy victims
This is the first picture of tragic Anita Heer from Wolverhampton who died along with two friends in a car smash.
A Facebook page has been set up in memory of the "three very special people" killed after the silver-coloured Subaru Impreza they were in crashed on the A449 Stourbridge Road near Wombourne last Thursday.
Hundreds of people flooded the page on the social networking site with tributes to former Codsall High School student Miss Heer, aged 25, of Lower Street, Tettenhall, Jasvinder Randhawa, 27, of Blakenhall, and Jaspal Virdee, 28, of Sutton Coldfield. The three are all believed to have worked at Wolverhampton-based construction giant Carillion. A total of 224 people have joined the group so far.
One tribute reads: "Rest in peace. Jas I remember you from school, you seemed such a great guy, such a terrible loss to all the people you have left behind." Friends also posted photographs of the victims on the Facebook page. Post mortems are due to take place over the next few days, with inquests opening soon after.
More than 100 floral tributes have been left at the scene of the crash by family and friends. Boquets, candles and sweets have been left along with cards containing messages paying tribute to three "amazing and special" people.
Mr Randhawa was an IT help desk worker at Carillion. His brother, Harvinder, had bought it on Monday, three days before the tragedy.
Miss Heer's family were too upset to talk. The sports car, believed to have been driven by Miss Virdee flipped into the air before smashing into the garden wall of a house.
