Baths could reopen within days

Coseley swimming baths could reopen next week following a chlorine leak that left 50 people needing medical treatment.

Environment boss Councillor Karen Shakespeare said workmen would be on site all weekend making sure that the baths are safe. A final inspection will take place on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Dudley Leisure Centre, which normally provides only lessons on a weekend, opened to the public today so that swimmers from Coseley could go along.
