Two men appeared in court today to deny killing a driver's mate at Bilston bus station.

Arthur Henry and Jason Talbot both pleaded not guilty to murder when they appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Peter White, aged 47 and of Bilston Road, was attacked on grassland between the station and Church Lane at 4.30pm on October 9 last year.

He was taken by ambulance to New Cross Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Henry, aged 45, of Rosemary Avenue, The Lunt, and Talbot, 34, of Rocket Pool Drive, Bradley, were remanded in custody by Judge John Warner.

They will stand trial on September 29.
