Probe on binman tragedy

A post mortem has been carried out on an 18-year-old binman who died on his rounds near Rugeley.

Craig Reaney, of Kelvin Drive, Cannock, died on Thursday after colliding with a recycling lorry in Oaktree Road, Brereton.

A post-mortem yesterday, found he died of multiple injuries. A Cannock man, 43, who drove the lorry is on police bail until April after being arrested on Friday on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The former Blake Valley Technology College and Chadsmoor Junior pupil had worked with Verdant, Cannock Chase Council's recycling contractors, for six weeks.

The Liverpool fan, a keen footballer, signed to play with The Trafalgar Football Club and played with Chase Fives for a number of years. He was also a snooker player.
