A man has been found dead following a cyanide alert at a cottage near Stourbridge.
Firefighters were called to Drayton Road, Belbroughton, home at about 10.30 last night.
Crews from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service wore chemical suits to avoid contamination because of a chemical leak, thought to be cyanide.
They opened windows and doors to clear fumes from the property where the man was found.
The victim, who has not yet been named, is believed to have been discovered by a relative.
Many residents in the village today said they had been unaware of the drama last night.
