Plant crowned at Grammys

Rock legend and Wolverhampton Wanderers fanatic Robert Plant has bagged more Grammys in one night than he ever did with band Led Zeppelin.

Plant, who lives near Kidderminster, picked up five awards at last night's glittering ceremony thanks to his collaboration with singer Alison Krauss.

Although he gained a Grammy lifetime achievement award with Led Zep in 2005, he failed to win one of the prestigious gongs while the group was together from the late 1960s until 1980.

However, it was Plant's collaboration with Alison Krauss that has helped him grab the major haul of this year's US awards. The pair's album Raising Sand has sold more than one million copies.
