The funeral of a Midland sub-postmaster's son shot dead in an attempted armed robbery is to be held next week, police said.

The funeral of a Midland sub-postmaster's son shot dead in an attempted armed robbery is to be held next week, police said.

Craig Hodson-Walker, aged 29, was shot in the chest at the general store and Post Office he ran with his father in Fairfield, near Bromsgrove, on January 9.

A service in his memory will take place next Thursday at St Mark's Parish Church in Stourbridge Road, Fairfield.

Villagers will be able to pay their respects at the nearby village hall.
