Ryan John James Lovell-Hancox, was rushed to hospital from a flat in Bradley last Monday. He was transferred to Birmingham Children's Hospital where he died on Christmas Eve.

Officers released the photo as they made a fresh appeal for help in piecing together the youngster's background.

Alan Mitchell, 29, called the ambulance that rushed the boy to hospital from the Slim Avenue flat after an hysterical woman knocked on his door Monday night.

Police want anyone with information about the child over the last three weeks to telephone police officers on 0845 113 5000.

Chris Taylor, 23, and Kayley Boleyn, 18, both of Slim Avenue, have been charged with causing or allowing the youngster's death and remanded in custody until January 5.
