Emma Lamb, aged 23, who lives in Church Avenue, says her friend Joe Hunt entered her into the lads' magazine's High Street Honeys competition.

The merchandiser at a Birmingham menswear store was delighted to learn she had reached the final 100 of the competition on her return from holiday.

She is now hoping people will vote her into the top 10 to help her scoop the £10,000 cash prize, which also includes the chance to become a TV presenter. The former Redhill School student said she was "trying to be confident" and hoped people would vote.

Emma said she enjoyed her job as a visual merchandiser but would "fancy the different challenge" of being a TV presenter.

Previous winners have been awarded modelling contracts, but the format of the competition, which aims to find Britain's best looking women, has changed this year.

Voting closes on November 27. To vote visit www.fhm.com/honeys
