A massive waste incinerator could be built in Worcestershire in two years time and the location for the controversial plant is expected to be decided in January.

Residents living at Kidderminster and villages around Hartlebury are already preparing to fight any proposals to install the incinerator and energy-from-waste plant near their homes.

Parish councillors at Hartlebury have been outraged to discover the village is among six sites being considered by Mercia Waste for the plant.
