Europe for the peasant

Letter: The "two pullovers" remarks made by the £1 million per year man, about the cost of heating, can only inflame the "peasants" even more!

It gives us all a bit more insight into the workings of the super rich class, and their feelings about the under class - ie contempt!

He should remember the French ("let them eat cake") Revolution, the Brit peasant riots, the Russian Revolution, which brought in Communism, the German "revolution", which brought in Hitler, all because the peasants revolted through being suppressed by high taxes and food prices, with only hard work in return, and had enough of it!

This is 2008, not previous years, and the modern peasants aren't the old immigrant peasants who looked on royalty and super rich as gods and untouchables with awe.

With the EU as one now, and all peasants generally fed up to the teeth with their lot and being the cradle for centuries of dictators to come, Europe in the future could become a strictly peasants only zone.

And their empire gone, being the only strength the super rich had, will bring no tears from those being robbed left right and centre now, only a feeling of "good riddance to bad rubbish!"
