The 19-year-old bank worker made it through to the final after she was crowned Miss Black Country earlier this year.

She is one of 50 young ladies battling it out for the title at a ceremony in London tomorrow night.

Kayleigh, a former Tipton carnival queen, said she said was thrilled to be in the final and looking forward to the experience.

"The other girls are absolutely stunning," she said. "But I hope I do well in the final. I want to make the Black Country proud," added Kayleigh, who works for the Halifax.

"I'm delighted to have this opportunity to be an ambassador for the area."

The winner of tomorrow's competition will go on to compete at Miss World 2008.
