Misery of MPs who waste our money

MP Tom Harris says "Britons are so bloody miserable". Britons are far from being miserable, but they ought to be! For what these so-called MPs have done across them over the past 50 or more years.

He says we have more money now than ever. We damn well need more money than ever. These dimwits of MPs think throwing money at everything will solve the problems, it just does not work like that. Money is not everything.

This was a very happy and loyal nation in the 40's, 50's and 60's unfortunately discipline went when the Nanny State lobby got into power, causing the decline in education, law and order, police, armed forces, everything you can mention.

They encouraged people to take out private pensions 'AVC' for later in life.

Unfortunately for the country, Labour got in power and Gordon Brown thieved £78 billion of it, then had the nerve to say there was a black hole in the funds, and he is still thieving it. That's besides selling the country's gold reserves off.

They have allowed millions upon millions of immigrants into the country, and we might as well face the facts as hide them. They have forced the EU and now the Lisbon Treaty on we, without a vote because they know the vote would be 'no'. Industry and the tradesmen are all but gone, and still going or getting out of the country while they can.

They are trying to stop the working man from having a cigarette if he wishes and now even a pint of beer. If you can call it beer. They have never given the British any encouragement or praise as long as I can remember. Never. Yet I know them for what they are, damn good workers, if not the best in the world. They have to work a lot more hours than most and certainly a lot more than MPs.

They have treated this most worthy nation, with nothing but treachery and contempt. I believe these MP's should be stripped of their assets and certainly their pensions for what they have done to this country and it's people.

Mr Paul Kent, Bloxwich, Walsall.
