A family today paid tribute to a "adventure loving daughter" killed in a freak accident when a boat mast smashed through the windscreen of the car she was travelling in.

Sarah James, aged 19, was hit on the head by the mast of a boat which was on a trailer being towed by a Range Rover on a West Midland road.
Her family today released a statement paying tribute to "a much-loved daughter, sister, grandchild and niece".
Sarah, of Redstone Drive, Highley, near Bridgnorth, suffered severe head and neck injuries in the accident on Dowles Road at Bewdley on Wednesday.
The former pupil of Oldbury Wells School in Bridgnorth, died on Thursday. The family's statement said: "Sarah had a thirst for adventure, she lived life to the full and was full of character."
