Police are investigating the man's death on a railway line near Coventry, which was reported in the early hours of Thursday.
Four firms' services are disrupted by the investigation, including trains running from Stafford to Birmingham New Street.
Passengers using some local rail services face considerable disruption although normal services are expected to resume later on Thursday morning.
